Airports in Florida
Florida, which is home to numerous beaches and amusement parks, witnesses thousands of travelers from around the world visiting the state every year. But getting to Florida is easy as it boasts superior air connectivity, provided by many of its international and domestic airports. The busiest airports in Florida are Miami International, Orlando International, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International, and Tampa International.
- Miami International Airport (MIA) – The largest airport in Florida, Miami International, serves as a major gateway between the United States and Latin America. MIA is the hub for passenger airlines, American Airlines, and Executive Airlines. Miami International is the tenth busiest airport in the United States, as per the data collected in 2016. Total passengers that year were more than 44.5 million.
