La Palma is a town in eastern Panama, on the estuary of the Tuira River near the Gulf of San Miguel. La Palma is home to varied wild life as the region is covered with dense tropical forest, palm-fringed beaches, and towering mountains.


La Palma is the capital of Darien province and is densely populated. This Panama city offers all the amenities of a modern society besides offering the best travel facilities. The city is home to around four thousand and two hundred people. The Darien province borders Colombia, and Kuna Yala in the east and north respectively. The Pacific Ocean lies in the south and the province of Panama in the northwest.
