Baseball Stadium , sometimes also called baseball parks or simply ballpark , includes the baseball field and the arena surrounding the field from where the spectators enjoy the game. Usually,  the baseball field is a square or diamond shaped structure. It has a home plate, the pitcher’s mound , the bases and two white foul lines which run perpendicular to each other. These lines are present along the two sides of the plate and form the boundary of the game. The first and the third base coaches guide the baserunners from the two coach’s box near the first and the third bases.

The stadium or the arena surrounding the baseball park is usually a multi-tiered structure with seating arrangements. The open-air area between the field and the stands usually has the scoreboards, fountains, bleacher-seats or even open-air museums . The origin of these modern day baseball stadiums are traced back to the Elysian Fields in Hoboken, New Jersey. There are different types of the baseball stadiums. The stadiums with wooden seats are known as the wooden ballparks while there are also other types like the Jewel Box Parks and also the Multi-purpose stadiums . From these has evolved the modern stadiums and even indoor stadiums. All of these stadiums provide the spectators with a lot of amenities. The Ballpark in Arlington , Jacobs Field , Busch Stadium and Coors Field are examples of some of the famous baseball stadiums.
