The Group Stage of Copa America Soccer Tournament would take place from 3 June to 14 June across the 10 chosen US cities. By following a round robin format for the tournament, every group would have each of its team playing each other for a single time. The winning team will earn 3 points. Both teams would get 1 point in case the match ends in a draw. The team losing the match wouldn’t earn any point. The top two teams of each group would hence proceed to the Quarter finals, which are scheduled to take place from 16 June to 18 June 2016. Here, the teams winning the first and second place from each round would be playing each other. For example, Group A vs Group B, AND Group C VS Group D. The two winning teams would now move on to the Semifinals, which are scheduled to take place from 21 June to 22 June, 2016. Here, the winners of Game 25 and 27 would play each other and also the winners of Game 26 and Game 28. The two teams winning these matches would grab a spot in the Final match which will be played on 26 June at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
