2014 Asian Games- Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony of the Incheon Asian Games will take place on 4th October 2014 from 19:00 to 21:30 local time at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. Artists from different Asian countries are expected to perform during the ceremony which shall culminate the spectacle that the event promises to be. As is the norm, renowned international stars including Psy of ‘Gangnam Style’ fame will be a part of the cultural extravaganza which shall precede the athletes’ walk-in.
Apart from the above mentioned details, the president of the organizing committee of Incheon will give a vote of thanks. In his speech, he will explain how the event was successful and what have been achieved; and how it should benefit the hosting of other upcoming events in the country. The final segment of this ceremony involves the Games flag being handed over from Incheon to the hosts of the 2019 edition.
The ceremony shall also have an elaborate show of fireworks. Adding vigor and a bit of flamboyance to the show, fireworks have always managed to light up the atmosphere at major sporting events and Incheon should be no different.
