Jariyan al Batnah is one of the provinces of Qatar. It is also an important municipality of the country. The province of Jariyan al Batnah is the southernmost province of Qatar. The full name of the province is Baladiyat Jariyan al Batnah or Baladiyat Jarayan al Batinah.
The region is bordered by the Persian Gulf on its western and southeastern sides. The municipality of Al Rayyan borders the northeast of the Jariyan al Batnah province, while Al Jumaliyah lies on the north and Al Wakrah on the eastern peripheries.
Due to the positioning of Jariyan al Batnah, it is the only municipality of Qatar, which has common borders with neighboring country Saudi Arabia. The Ash Sharqiyah province of Saudi Arabia lies to the south of the province of Jariyan al Batnah. The cities of the province can be easily accessed by people as the region lies in close proximity to the Al Udeid Ab Airport.
The topography of the province of Jariyan al Bantah consists of mainly plain land. Coastal land can be found near the Persian Gulf. Apart from the oil industries, people of the region can also earn their living by fishing. Tourists visiting the place can also enjoy fishing at the cities and towns located near the Gulf.
