The Norfolk beaches are some of the most stunning beaches of the world, which are visited by a large number of tourists every year. The Norfolk Island beaches are ideal places where tourists can enjoy the golden sands washed by the warm and blue ocean waters.

The best time for visiting the beaches of Norfolk Island is between December and April. However from October to May, the beach weather is extremely pleasant. The coastline of Norfolk Island covers 32 kilometers and is composed of some secluded beaches hidden at the base of lofty cliffs.

Some popular beaches in Norfolk island, which tourists love to visit are:

  • Anson Bay: It the most stunning beach in Norfolk Island. It is situated at the base of one of the numerous steep cliffs of the island and is a very secluded place. This place is ideal for tourists who want to explore the place on their own.

    Walking on this beach is definitely a worthwhile experience. The place has good waves, which are ideal for surfing but people should be a little cautious while swimming.

  • Slaughter Bay: This beach is a perfect place for water sports such as snorkeling on a calm day. When the swell is right, it becomes an ideal place for surfing. Tourists can view colorful tropical fish on the reef.
  • Emily Bay: This beach is considered to be the safest swimming spot on the entire island and also in the world. It is extremely popular among families and kids.

The Norfolk beaches are spectacular in terms of beauty and perfect spots to indulge in water activities or simple relax.
