Lao is Laos’ official language. The capital of Laos is Vientiane.

Buddha Park in Laos is situated 25km west of Laos. Buddha Park has around 200 Buddhist and religious icons. The best means of reaching the park is by boarding bus number 14. At one end the park has Savan.

Lao National Museum is located in Vientiane. The entrance fee of this museum is USD0.50. In the first floor of this museum you can watch Mekong Valley’s Archeology and their culture. In the second floor of the museum there are many rooms where you get to see pictures of the period of 1353, war and its consequences, etc.

Cultural Park in Laos is located in Vientiane this park borders the banks of Mekong river. Many caged birds and animals are found in this park.

This park also has restaurants, picnic fields, Buddhist icons and a big central stage. You can enjoy Lao song and dance which is frequently performed in this park.

Golden City Temple in Laos is situated at the crest of the Peninsula. The temple is very beautiful and is decorated excellently.

Phongsali

Phongsali in Laos is one of the many sightseeing spots in this country. Phongsali is the name of province in Laos.The capital of this province is known by the same name, that is, Phongsali. This province is situated in the northern most part of the country of Laos. This province, being the northernmost area in Laos, shares its borders with both China and Vietnam as the neighboring countries.

Phongsali is a beautiful province in Laos that has abundance of flora and fauna. This picturesque province in its mountain seat is wonderfully decorated and surrounded by the sublime mountains. This place has very low temperature and heavy rainfall. As a result, the mountain river is a place which provides the travelers with much enjoyment of river rafting. Due it its location in the high mountains, Phongsali province in Laos has a temperature that is very cold for most time of the year.

Phongsali, as a sightseeing spots in Laos, has many things to offer apart from the natural beauty that can be enjoyed at all times. trekking is the main adventure activity that can be done here. A boat trip from Luang Prabang is another attraction here. But the most attractive is the Phu Den Din. It is a conservation area and provides much entertainment as it has an excellent range of plants and life. Culturally this province shows strong influence of China.

Presidential Palace in Laos

Presidential Palace in Laos is the cultural heritage of Laos and this major Laos attraction is situated in the Vientiane and it’s popularly known as the Vientiane Presidential Palace. The location of the President Palace is at the base of the lane of Xang Street. Presidential Palace in Laos is architecturally stupendous and it’s fashionably built in Beaux Arts style and is a matter of pride for the Laos citizens.

The main reason for building this Presidential Palace in Laos is to provide home to the French Colonial governors. During those brief reigns of Monarchy after the Independence it also served as the royal residence to them.Presidential Palace in Laos was use by the royal families in the olden days but after they banished in the 1970s it is presently used for the formal ceremonies and the related occasions. But don’t overlook about its maintenance and significance as President Palace is not open to the public at all and is an important heritage of Laos.

Victory Monument in Laos

Victory Monument in Laos is an important architecture piece of Laos and it is one of the major Laos attractions. Victory Monument has sentimental emotions attached to the Laos people and it was built for an important cause. Laos Victory Monument is a solely dedicated to the soldiers who fought the war of Independence against France staking their life for the nation’s freedom. The location of the Victory Monument in Laos is to the north end of the Lang Xang Avenue and it was constructed in 1958.

The structure of Victory Monument in Laos is like an arch shaped modeled on the Parisian Arc de triomphe. The detailing of the Victory Monument is however in a typical Lao style with many Kinnari figures sculpted in it. The sculptures are mostly of half women or somewhere its kind of half bird and if you can climb in this Victory Monument in Laos it is sure to provide you a good view of the city.
