Hillary Clinton Family
Hillary Clinton’s father, Hugh Ellsworth Rodham, was of English and Welsh decent. He was an entrepreneur and had a successful business in the textile industry. Her mother, Dorothy Emma Howell, was of a French Canadian, Scottish, English, and Welsh descent. She was a homemaker. Hillary Clinton is the eldest of her parent’s three children. Her two younger brothers are Hugh Rodham and Tony Rodham. Hugh Rodham is an American lawyer and former Democratic Party politician, while Tony Rodham is an American consultant and businessman.
On October 11, 1975, Hillary Rodham married Bill Clinton whom she had met as a student at the Yale Law School. Bill Clinton later on became the Governor of Arkansas and the President of the United States of America. On February 27, 1980, Hillary Clinton gave birth to Chelsea, who is the couple’s only child. From 2011 to 2014, Chelsea worked as a special correspondent with NBC News. She is now with the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative. On July 31, 2010, Hillary Clinton became a mother-in-law when Chelsea Clinton married Marc Mezvinsky, an investment banker. Chelsea and Mezvinsky’s daughter, Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky was born in September 2014 and son, Aidan Clinton Mezvinsky, in June 2016.
