Where is Las Vegas?

Las Vegas is located in Nevada, which is a US state in the Mountain West, Southern West and Western regions of the country. Located in Clark County, Las Vegas is the most populated city of Nevada and the 28th most populated in the United States. As of 2016, Las Vegas comprised an estimated population of 632,912 people. The city covers a total area of 135.8 square miles. Las Vegas is famous the world over for its nightlife, gambling, fine dinning, and shopping destinations. It is a popular resort city. One of the most visited tourist destinations, Las Vegas is also known as the Sin City. This is due to the fact that many forms of adult entertainment are tolerated in the city. There are many museums and galleries in Las Vegas such as Neon Museum, the Las Vegas Natural History museum, Smith Center for the Performing Arts, etc.
