Glorious, Astonishing, Simply WOW!
Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal has been by far one of the finest spaces imaginable to thrill the visitors’ hearts and transport them into a realm of sheer, otherworldly beauty. I simply got lost in time when I visited this church, which has been by far the most amazing place I have visited during my travels around the world. Serving as a prayer hall for the local people, it is one of the major tourist hot-spots located right in the center of the town. Excellent connectivity by public transport, including Metro and city buses, makes it very easy to reach Notre-Dame Basilica within no time. Apart from everything that you can see in every other church, it has one thing which makes it special. This is the detailed carvings on the walls and sculptures which makes it stand out among other churches.
Unlike many other places there is one more unique thing about it is, which is that entry is absolutely free apart from the light and sound show which costs around a mere CAD 10. This show is a marvelous spectacle, which has left at least me spellbound! This magnificent show uses the most advanced multimedia techniques to (literally) highlight the Basilica’s historical, cultural, and architectural legacy… and its many outstanding works of art.
