Travel Tips for Vacations in Hawaii!

Here are some tips that you must know before planning a Hawaiian vacation :

Tip#1 Best time to visit Hawaii

As Hawaii experiences all the more same weather throughout the year, the best time to visit Hawaii can be decided on the basis of expenditure. There are specific periods when the prices shoot sky high. From Mid-December through mid-April, it is the high season in Hawaii. Thus, if you are ready to spend more, you may plan your vacation during these months. According to past weather reports, the best weather months are April, May, September, and October.

Tip#2 Luggage essentials

Do you try to pack your bag with almost everything that you use regularly at home? If you are planning to visit Hawaii, discontinue this practice of carrying everything. If you have planned a visit for about 5 days, just pack a fast-dry undergarment, swimsuit, a hat, one aqua trunk/skirt, two T-shirts/blouses, two shorts of two lengths, water-friendly footwear, and a pair of athletic shoes. Besides this, carry toiletries in a kit having containers for liquids with the airline certified storage capacity.

Tip#3 Health Tips

The Hawaii State Department of Health urges the visitors to drink 16 ounces of water every hour to prevent dehydration while staying in the sun or hiking. Wear a hat to protect your head from the heat and UV-reflective sunglasses to guard your eyes. Apply sunblock lotion frequently. If you are not able to get acclimatized, you should take proper breaks and refreshments.

Tip#4 Money

You must carry at least $5 worth of $1 notes, a couple of $5 notes and a few 0.25 cents. They are highly useful for tipping, or paying the fare of a bus or trolley. Both the bus and the trolley do not give change in return.

Tip#5 Dining

Ask the locals for the best places to eat and drink. They would love to help you out. They may even give you nice travel tips.

Tip#6 Accommodation

There are a lot of places to live in Hawaii. Check out the reviews of the hotels and other places of accommodation on the internet and then book the one that suits your budget and needs.

Tip#7 Nightlife

Waikiki’s Kuhio Beach is the best place for nighttime entertainment. You would enjoy ‘hula’ – a dance performed during the sunset.

Visit Hawaii and go back with indelible memories. Rubberneck the beautiful sights offered by the islands of Hawaii.
