Arena Fonte Nova :

Arena Fonte Nova stadium is located in Salvador, Brazil. This stadium has a capacity of 52,048 seats with a maximum capacity of 55,000. This stadium was officially inaugurated on January 28, 1951 and is officially known as Complexo Esportivo Cultural Professor Octávio Mangabeira. This new stadium is built on the ruins of the earlier stadium that was demolished in 2010.

Arena Fonte Nova has a lightweight metal roof along with a complex around it, which houses concert hall, hotels, shops, car parks, a football museum, and a panoramic restaurant During the FIFA World Cup 2014, this stadium will host six matches in total among which four will be group matches, a round-16 match, and a quarter-final.

Arena Fonte Nova is located in the eastern fringe of Salvador and is therefore at a walking distance from the center of the city.
