For the 17th Asian Games, 49 competition venues and 48 training facilities will be used. Out of these, 10 feature in the six cities of Gyeonggi Province while another two are in Chungju and Seoul.
All the other venues for the games are in eight districts and a county inside the metropolitan city of Incheon. For this specific spectacle, ten new venues have been constructed while others have been upgraded. Keeping in mind the number of teams participating and expecting extensive media coverage, the Games officials have tried to ensure that they have enough space for athletes as well as for media in the Games village, which is expected to provide over 3,300 units and 9,560 rooms for athletes and media persons.
The organizing committee is expected to take care about transport for the venues so that the spectator doesn’t face any kind of problems. Special buses could be offer as massive number of people will visit the games during these 15 days. Further, volunteers will be selected who will further assist the spectators. As the event draws closer, further details about the venues and the stadiums shall be put up.

The Latest Asian Games will be held in Incheon, South Korea from 19th September to 4th October, 2014. It is officially known as the XII Asiad. Asiad is a multi-sport event in which 45 Asian countries partcipate. It is the second Largest sporting event only after Olympics. The Asian games is governed by Olympic Council of Asia. The Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee (IAGOC) will be the organizing body for this Asian Games.
In 2014 Asian Games, Athletes from 45 countries will partcipate in 437 events in 36 sports including 28 olympics sports and 8 non olympics sports.
There will be in total 103 venues for the Asian Games out of which 49 will be competition venues and 54 will be training venues. Incheon Asiad Main Stadium will host the opening and closing ceremony for this games. It has 61000 seater capacity.
