Iasi is one of the important cities in Romania. Located in eastern Romania, the city is the capital of Moldova province. Being the second largest city in Romania, Iasi is the academic and cultural hub of the country.

There are a total of eight private and state universities, which accommodate numerous students from across the globe. There are around 50 churches and cathedrals in the country. Iasi has many cultural centers in the city too, which cater to various cultural enthusiasts and tourists in the city of Romania.

Iasi is located on the banks of the Bahlui River. There are many small monasteries in close vicinity to the city, while the city itself is situated amidst natural greenery. The history of Iasi dates back to the 16th century and the city carries the historical background very well to this present day. Reaching Iasi is not a problem at all. With an airport and train station, travel to Iasi is a non-problematic issue. There are domestic flights from Bucharest to this city, as well as daily trains from all parts of Romania.

Iasi has the oldest Romanian university in the country and draws a large number of students annually on a regular basis. The other universities in the city provide advanced education to students in a highly competitive environment. Cultural centers in the city are abundant with various theatres, museums, and auditoriums. The Romanian Orthodox Church is also located at Iasi in Romania.
