In Poland, Rybnik is the 25th biggest city. The name of the city is derived from ‘ ryba’, a Polish word, which means fish pond. It emphasizes the significance of fish farming in the economy of the city, especially during the Middle Ages. The River Nacyna flows along Rybnik city.
