Nicaragua Culture
Nicaragua-Society and Culture was greatly influenced by the Sandinistas. The Sandinistas were motivated to develop the total infrastructure of Nicaragua. They started with improvement in health care systems and education. Their main target was to uplift the condition of the poor. The Sandinistas were not happy with the power which the Roman Catholic bishops enjoyed. But the Sandinistas culture too had some deeply embedded uniqueness.
After the Sandinista period in Nicaragua there was a rapid growth in population, infertility male dominance class inequalities and cultural differences. One fifth of the population fell under the middle class category. Most of the income went for the house old activities. Very few people had a salaried and permanent job. Most of the population belonged to the labor force.
Land is the main asset of the people as more than half of the population is engaged in agriculture. Coffee, cotton and sugar are the main agricultural products. The upper class and the middle class were owners of large pieces of land. After the Second World War the agro export production led to the development of the urban market. Construction, banking, industry and commerce started developing.
Nicaragua Culture is amalgamation of different cultures. The people of Nicaragua are happy, humorous and creative. The people of Nicaragua are sure to attract the visitors with their hospitality, friendliness and goodness.
