The co-founder of the Beatles, John Lennon was born in on October 9, 1940, at Liverpool Maternity Hospital. In 1960, in association with Paul McCartney, Lennon formed the Beatles. Along with its other two members George Harrison and Ringo Starr, the group went on to record some of the most memorable songs, which are still hummed today by people of all ages.
