The written history of the town of Trebic dates back to the 12th century when the monastery founded by the Benedictine Order was established in the year 1101. The town of Trebic has emerged as one of the primary centers of the Vysocina Region that upholds the culture, heritage and tradition of Czech Republic in the region.
