The African country Cameroon is located in the western part of Central African Region. The official name of Cameroon is Republic of Cameroon and its total land area is 475, 440 sq. km. It is the fifty fourth largest country of the world. Cameroon is bordered by Republic of Congo, Gabon and Equatorial Guiana to its south, Central African Republic to its east, Chad to its northeast and Nigeria in the west. It has 402 km long coastline in the west on the Bight of Biafra, part of Gulf of Guiana. The absolute location of Cameroon is 1° and 13°N Latitudes and 8° and 17° E Longitudes. Yaoundé is the capital city of the country and Douala is its largest city.
