Rwanda visa is a compulsory document to get an entry in the landlocked country. There are different types of Rwanda visa like visa for traveling, business visa, tourist visa and others. They include travel visa, tourist visa, business visa, and others.
There are single entry visa and multiple entry visas. All these types of Rwandan visa are valid for three months. For any kind of application of visa there is consulate section in the Embassy of Rwanda.
The payment for
visa of Rwanda can not be made by cheques and cash. The people must furnish all the required formalities in order to obtain Rwanda visa. The required formalities to be furnished for getting a visa for Rwanda include:
- The person opting for Rwanda visa should fill in two application forms in his/her own handwriting or in type.
- The traveler must render a legal passport for at least six months.
- To complete the procedure of visa it takes twenty four hours and forty eight hours for the travel document.
- The application envelope of the applicant must be registered, bear a stamp and the address of the applicant.
- Two passport size photographs must be attached with the application form.
- Person opting for business visa must mention the type of business.
- The application letter must bear the signature of an officer of the company other than the applicant.
- The name and address provided by the applicant must be verified by the officials before issuing the Visa.
A valid Rwanda visa is absolutely necessary for all the travelers except for the nationals of Uganda, UK, USA, the Republic of Congo,
Tanzania, Kenya, Canada, Germany, Burundi, South Africa, Hong Kong, Mauritius and Sweden. They can obtain a Rwanda visa from any big entry point without being charge. Rwanda visa is not required for those passengers who pass through Rwanda for business purpose within twenty four hours
