In this festival, the farmers move to the church with huge bouquets of vegetables, herbs, corn. These bouquets are interlaced with the flowers from the farmers' gardens. In the church, these bouquets are blessed by the priest. These bouquets are then taken back to the home which are kept till the name day of the following year. Wigilia – It is one of the Poland traditions that is continuing for ages. It is held on the Christmas Eve. It is a family feast where the vegetarian dinner is served. Though it is a family feast, a guest is not welcome on the night of Christmas eve. It is considered a bad omen to entertain a guest on that night. The delicious dishes are served in Wigilia. But, before consuming this Christmas Eve dinner, everyone in the family is anxious to see the star in the sky. Once they can see the star, they greet each other and get ready for the Wigilia.
