Nevada Beach:
Located on the east shore of Lake Tahoe, the Nevada Beach is one of the best places to visit in Nevada. It is categorized as a picnic area consisting of fifty-four camping and twenty-five picnic sites. The beauty of the beach is enhanced by the lush green native pine trees. The place offers a wide range of recreational activities such as camping, hiking, and boating.

Echo Canyon State Park:
Located in the Lincoln County of Nevada, the Echo Canyon State Park is one of the most scenic parks in the state. The main attraction in the park is the Echo Canyon Reservoir. The other places around the area include several ranches, campsites, fishing areas, and farms.

Nevada State Museum:
Also known as the Nevada State Museum and Historical Society, Nevada State Museum is located in Las Vegas. The museum showcases diverse collections that tell about the development of the state. The most notable exhibits include the “Nevada’s Changing Earth,” USS Nevada Silver Service, and America’s largest exhibited Columbian mammoth. There are also displays revealing interesting facts about the natural history of the area and the cultural heritage of the state. The authorities plan to move the building to a new place in the Las Vegas Springs Preserve, which will open on October 28, 2011.

Great Basin National Park:
Established in 1986, the Great Basin National Park is a national park in the east-central Nevada, United States. The park most known for its bristlecone pines, and for the Lehman Caves. It provides habitat and protection to a variety of animal species and flora. The animals found in the park include jackrabbits, pygmy rabbits, squirrels, mountain cottontails, and chipmunks.

Hoover Dam:
Located in the Black Canyon area of the Colorado River, Hoover Dam, is a concrete arch-gravity dam. Formerly known as Boulder Dam, it was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression. The dam is named after the US President Herbert Hoover. The dam is an important source for public utilities in the state as it generates power in great quantities. It is also a major tourist attraction in the state attracting millions of visitors each year.
