The Idaho Military History Museum located in Ada county is popular for exhibiting the entire history of Idaho military. Bannock County Historical Museum situated on the southeastern part of Idaho is known to showcase the Shoshone-Bannock Indian arts and crafts and history of railroad organizations in Pocatello.
Boise Basin Museum of Idaho is another interesting site which presents a complete overview of the mining period of Idaho City. Coeur d’Alene’s Old Mission located in Kootenai county of Idaho was constructed without a single nail and one foot thick walls by the tribal community of Coeur d’Alene and Catholic Missionaries and boasts of being the oldest edifice of the state which still stands tall.
