Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park
The Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is a United States National Park. It is located in western Colorado and is managed by the National Park Service. It was established on October 21, 1999. In 2010, approximately 176,000 visitors visited the national park. It covers an area of 30,750 acres. The park contains the deepest and the most dramatic section of the canyon. It offers two campgrounds and several miles of hiking. The Black Canyon is a center for rock climbing.

Cherry Creek State Park
Cherry Creek State Park is located in Arapahoe County, Colorado. It consists of a natural prairie environment having an 880-acre reservoir. The reservoir offers powerboats, sailboats and paddle-craft for visitors. The park has more than forty species, including eastern cottontail rabbit, coyote, beaver, muskrat, raccoon, weasel, etc. The park covers an area of 3,346 acres and was established in 1959. It is maintained and governed by Colorado State Parks.
Cripple Creek District Museum
Cripple Creek District Museum is located in Cripple Creek. It was founded in 1953 by Blevins Davis and Richard Wayne Johnson. The Museum has five historic buildings: The 1894 Colorado Trading and Transfer Company building, the 1895 Midland Terminal Depot, Assay Office, Home of French Blanche LeCroix from the Cripple Creek District town of Midway, and a miner’s cabin circa. Today, the museum illustrates the life in Victorian Era.
World’s Wonder View Tower
The World’s Wonder View Tower is located in Genoa, Colorado. This tourist trap and roadside attraction is 65 feet tall. It was built in mid-1920s by C.W. Gregory and Myrtle Le Bow. It is often said that it is possible to see six states (Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, New Mexico, and South Dakota) from the top of the tower. The tower is also a museum having historic American West artifacts and weapons.
