The Georgetown Loop Railroad runs through the Devil’s Gate Bridge and offers tourists an excellent trip through the Rocky Mountain region of the state. The Rio Grande railroad organizes regular trips through Alamosa and Great Sand Dunes National Park. The Pikes Peak Cog Railway of Colorado passes through Manitou Ave and Ruxton Ave and provides tourists with a unique way to enjoy Colorado’s rich natural scenic beauty.

The Denver Pacific Railroad was the first to construct a railway line in 1870 that connected Denver, Cheyenne, and Wyoming. Colorado had 3,514 miles of total railway lines in 2000.
