Mall of the Emirates in Dubai is a definitive entertainment, leisure, and shopping resort. Strategically located in the heart of New Dubai, this 223,000 square meter center offers a full variety of shopping, and entertainment options. The Dubai Mall of the Emirates is home to over 450 retailers. It also has 70 restaurants and cafés with fast food, themed restaurants, and exclusive dining alternatives. The complex also houses two mosques.
Recreation centers at the mall
The entertainment options at the Mall of the Emirates include Ski Dubai, a two-level Magic Planet family entertainment center, a 14-screen Cinestar Cinemas and the Dubai Community Arts and Theater with a 500 seat-theater and art gallery.
Five-Star Hotels adjacent to the mall
Mall of the Emirates also has two five-star hotels in the vicinity, including Kempinski Hotel and the Sheraton Dubai Hotel. The Kempinski offers over 900 rooms, licensed restaurants, swimming pools and spas and a tennis court.
Shops at the mall
Mall of the Emirates has attracted every household brand into its 400 outlets. The largest shops include names like Harvey Nichols, Debenhams, the Carrefour supermarket, and the Virgin Megastore. The designer products include: Guess, H&M, Zara, Lacoste, Pepe Jeans and Tommy Hilfiger, among others. The Rodeo Drive area is where you will find exclusive brands such as Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Dolce and Gabbana, and Burberry.
Dining options
Food options are also available in the mall. The Fashion Dome has over 90 restaurants and cafés including eight stylish restaurants for foodies. The food court also has an outlet of America’s largest restaurant named ‘The Cheesecake Factory’.
Parking
If you are traveling in your personal vehicle, then you need not to worry about parking as the mall has 7,000 parking spaces.

The mall was awarded the ‘Best Shopping Mall’ award at Best in Dubai Awards 2009.

Mall of the Emirates is located at interchange four on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. The mall can be reached within half-an-hour’s drive from the Airport Terminal 1 Metro Station 1, Dubai. You can use metro, bus, taxi, or personal car to reach the mall.

Best Time to Visit
As Dubai is hot for most of the year, the best time to visit Dubai is during November to March. However, the Mall of the Emirates is an air-conditioned shopping resort, thus it can be visited any time of the year.
