Places to Visit in Kasauli
Monkey or Manki Point: This is the highest point in Kasauli. The hill gets its name from a sage named Manki, who used to worship Lord Hanuman at the place where the temple is built. The temple offers a spectacular view.
Kasauli Brewery: The the 19th-century brewery was shifted to Solan, the distillery at Kasauli is still there. It is arguably the oldest operating distillery in Asia and also one of the oldest whiskey making distilleries in continuous operation.
Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir: The temple was built in 1989 and contains an idol of Sai Baba that was built in Jaipur. The flame inside the temple, which\t has been burning continuously since the inception, signifies the imperishable divine powers of Sai Baba.
Churches: Christ Church and Baptist Church in Kasauli are two fine examples of colonial architecture in the region and are quite popular with tourists.
Bon Monastery: Located in the outskirts of Kasauli, this monastery is considered the second oldest in the world.
