St Christopher's Place

St Christopher’s Place is a great area to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street

Right across Bond Street station and in between H&M and Intissimi on Oxford Street is a narrow alleyway leading to St Christopher’s Place, home to a smattering of boutiques and restaurants.

Because of its discreet location, St Christopher’s Place almost seems an oasis of calm away from the crowds marching up and down Oxford Street. The only really busy area here is towards the center where you can grab a coffee at Carluccio’s or Café Creperie or have a meal at restaurants offering cuisines ranging from Greek, Turkish and Japanese.

The charm in St Christopher’s Place lies in its fresco nature. Though outdoor cafes and restaurants are a mainstay in continental Europe, they’re not as common in the British capital so it makes for a nice change, especially when the weather is nice. Though that’s not very often!

Small boutiques and shops at St Christopher's Place

There are plenty of small boutiques and shops to keep you busy here.

There’s also an eclectic mix of shops too with higher end high street brands such as Whistles, Phase Eight and Jigsaw and designers such as Mulberry and Kurt Geiger. It’s a great place to pick up unique pieces too with the designer store Malini and jewellery shop The Amber Centre.
