Fireworks during New Year Celebrations at Nathan Phillips Square

Nathan Phillips Square is a vibrant, active space in the heart of the city. It is a place where Torontonians gather, share memories, and welcome the world. It is a place where people come together in the spirit of openness, community, and democracy. People in Toronto feel proud to introduce this place, its greatest public space. Located in-between two important streets i.e. Bay street and Queen Street West, it is one of the largest spaces for public exhibits, cultural shows, rock concerts and special public gatherings like fireworks’ displays on new year’s eve. Due to its location next to the Eaton Centre and the famous Downtown of Toronto it is very easily accessible through public transport. Thanks to  the  Toronto transport commission for making it possible. This place can be accessed through 2 different subway stations, Queen and Osgoode. Apart from that, one can also use street cars which run frequently to the square.
