Ingredients (serves 2 to 3)
- Olive oil – 3 tbsp
- Onion – 1 & 1/2 cup (chopped)
- Garlic – 2 tbsp (chopped)
- Lamb – 300 gms (with bone)
- Tomato – 1/2 cup (chopped)
- Curry powder – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Rice – 1 cup
How to Make Turkish Lamb Pilau
- Heat olive oil in a pan.
- Add onion and fry till translucent
- Add Lamb and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Add 2 cup water, cover and cook until Lamb is fully cooked (about 45 to 50 minutes)
- Add tomato, garlic, curry powder and salt. Mix well.
- Add rice with 1 cup water. Cover and cook till rice is done.
- Serve hot.
