Located in Alabama's Geneva County, Geneva city is home to approximately 4,452 people. The city covers an area of 16.1 square miles. The city is strategically located on the junction of Pea River and Choctawhatchee River. The prominent state routes that pass through the city are Alabama State Route 52 and Alabama State Route 27. The city has a humid sub tropical climate where the winters are mild and cool while the summers are hot and humid.
The River Festival is held in the city in April every year. Hundreds of people from across the nation fly down to Geneva to witness the sparkling festival. Some of the events that are held during the festival include tug-of-war, road race, and canoe race to name a few. The Shoppe, Hardee's and Porky barn are some places where you can have a splendid meal while the City Cafe and The Hole in the Wall and More are good for a hot cup of coffee.
