It is all jumbled up – Jigsaw Puzzles

Games are no longer a preserve of kids. They are played more by young adults than by kids these days. We have broken world or parts of the world 16 times on one page. The whole idea behind us breaking it up is you being able to build it back together. Maps are fun, and double the fun when jumbled up. Knowledge is acquired through various means and many believe that games are a sure shot way of acquiring it. At Mapsofworld, the more formats we experience, the more formats we think we need.

We, at Mapsofworld, have been building games around maps – games that can keep you entertained and make you aware of the real depth of your knowledge and help you improve it if there is any window for it. So, we experimented quite a few formats – quiz, puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, interactive games and so on.

Map games were all over the website. However, two years back we brought all of them together and gave map games an index page – Mapsofworld.com/Games. We have brought all 16 Jigsaw Puzzles under this one section.

Technology is constantly changing and this brings in a need to migrate the games from one technology to another. We, at Mapsofworld.com, have been consistently riding the technology bandwagon. Most of our games are in Adobe Flash and with Flash losing its flash we have started the transition. Our games on iPad work independent of flash and slowly all our games would be developed and played around generic platforms.

My particular favorite is Ikaaw Land, as it keeps me engaged and striving to do better. Ikaaw actually  abbreviates ‘I Know All About the World.’ Go, play it out!
