India shares borders with Pakistan in the northwest, China and Nepal in the north, Bhutan in the northeast and Bangladesh and Myanmar in the east. To the south, there’s the Indian Ocean, and to the west, there’s the Arabian Sea. Sri Lanka, an island country, is right next to the southern tip of India. If you look at a map, India’s coordinates are around 20.5937° north latitude and 78.9629° east longitude.
