US military fires Tomahawk missiles at radar sites in Yemen
The US military has fired Tomahawk missiles at radar sites in Yemen on Thursday. This comes after two incidents this week when missiles were launched at a US navy ship from an area under the control of rebels. Media reports quoted a senior defense official as saying that the missiles were fired from the destroyer USS Nitze. According to initial assessments, all the three sites located in the Houthi-controlled areas have been destroyed in the attack.
