Cuquenan Falls
Cuquenan Falls, also known as Kukenaam is one of the highest Waterfalls of Venezuela. It is amongst the ten highest free leaping waterfalls of the world. Henri Pittier Park
Created in 1937, Henri Pittier National Park is the very first national park of Venezuela. Henri Pittier National Park is situated in the states of Aragua and Caraboba and has a small section of the Caribbean Sea on its northern boundary. This park was initially known as Rancho Grande and was renamed as Henri Pittier National Park in 1953. The total area covered by this park is estimated to be 107,800 hectares.
Henri Pittier National Park is also characterized by great natural diversity. Being located in one of the most important zone of the Tropical Andes, there are a number of elevations in this park, which allow different types of vegetation to grow in its different parts. There is a Cloud Forest around the Ranch Grande Biological Station. The deciduous or semi-deciduous forest of Henri Pittier National Park is characterized by cotton silk tree, fig tree, bucarem palomaria and tara amarila. Some parts of the park favor the growth of Savanna type of vegetation while others favor the growth of mangroves. Thorny bushes such as cactus are also seen in few parts of the park.

Lake Valencia

Los Roques
Los Roques is located in the Caribbean Sea and is situated 168 kilometers towards the north of La Guaira. It was declared as a national park in the year 1972. The pristine color of the water and the comely surroundings prove to be an ideal recline for the tourists in Venezuela. Los Roques is an archipelago of over 50 islands. Mochima National Park
Mochima National Park was created in the year 1973, and is located in the northeastern part of Venezuela, in Anzoategui and Sucre. This park of Venezuela is mainly made of Cenozoic and Mesozoic sedimentary rocks and was created with a special purpose.
