Flag of Venezuela the flag that Venezuela now uses is simple and uncluttered in design.It comprises of three horizontal stripes of the colors yellow, blue and red. The central blue stripe houses a semi-circular arc of seven stars.
There is a coat of arms in the top left hand corner of the flag. The seven stars in white represent the seven different provinces which supported the revolution. The blue color commemorates Venezuelan freedom from Spain and red stands for courage.
