Michigan Road Map

The Michigan Road Map presents a clear overview of all the inter-state roadways that connect the cities and towns of the state.
I-496 which leads to I-69 and I-96 is a vital road which offers easy access to the capital city of the state – Lansing. While I-96 passes through Lonia, I-69 intersects Port Huron. I-475, which ends at I-75, provides transportation to the southern part of Flint. The Michigan state map provides a comprehensive look at the wide network of roads that link the state.

As of 2015, Michigan contains 120,256 miles of paved roads, of which 9,669 miles are highways, 89,444 miles are county roads and 21,198 miles are city and village streets. In the initial years of road transportation, Michigan transport was primarily facilitated by street cars. However, in the later years buses became the prime mode of road transportation. Between 1995-96, an estimated round 3,500,000 people used the inter-city buses. Motorcycles, trucks and passenger cars are also seen on Michigan roads.
