Tunisia weather



Tunisia, weather experiences a Mediterranean climate in the north .The summers are hot and dry and winters are cold and wet. The South of Tunisia experiences very hot and humid weather. Rainfall in Tunisia is scanty and droughts

are a common feature. Sirocco winds which are very hot winds are common and they make the temperature at Tunisia high.

Tunisia weather is mostly warm and humid throughout the year. In the interior part of Tunisia the weather is exceedingly hot. Winter brings in a little relief and there is also heavy rainfall.

Tunisia receives direct sun shine for most of the year. July and August are the hottest months. From October to May the climate of Tunisia is a little favorable. The temperature ranges between 12 degrees to 28 degrees. The period from March to May is the Spring time and the country is filled with flowers. In winter the weather ranges from 10 degrees to 13degrees.

There are two climatic belts in Tunisia. One is the Mediterranean and the other is the Saharan. The sea moderates the temperature of Tunisia.

Tunisia Rainfall

Tunisia receives an annual rainfall of 1,520 mm.The mountainous region receives the maximum rainfall. Tawzar in the south west receives very less rainfall.

The latitudinal location of Tuscany has a great influence on its climate.
