The 2007 Rugby World Cup qualifying round began in 2004. Around 94 rugby teams including 86 regional qualifiers and 8-quarter finalists of the 2003 rugby world cup.The eight-quarter finalists from the 2003 event were qualified automatically for Rugby World cup 2007.
The first match in the 2007 rugby world cup will be held between France and Argentina at St Dennis in France. After the Pool matches that will end on September 30, the rugby quarterfinal matches and the semi final matches will follow.
