Asian Games 2010 will be held in 53 competition and 17 training venues located in Guangzhou, China and three neighboring co-host cities, i.e. Shanwei, Dongguan and Foshan.
Competition for the games will begin on 12th November and end on 27th November 2010. Eleven competition venue as well as one training venue has been newly construed, while the rest have been renovated.
Except for the football venues, the rest of them will be used only after the opening ceremony. Given below are the different venues where the events will be held along with the names of the sports. The venues which are marked (New) have been newly constructed for the games.
