Sinaia City, Romania



The town of Sinaia in Romania is found located in a beautiful mountainous region. More precisely the town of Sinaia is located along the foothills of the Bucegi Mountains in the Prahova Valley,

which is situated at a distance of 44km from Brasov and 125km from Bucharest. The altitude at, which this town is located ranges between 800meters to 1000meters. The summers are favorable and the winters are mild, but this area is covered with snow. The normal temperature varies between seven degree Celsius to 15 degree Celsius and the temperature in the winter drops down to minus four degree Celsius. This area experiences rainfall of 900mm annually. Maximum rainfall is found in June and the minimum in September and February.

The Sinaia is actually a famous and renowned mountain resort in Romania. It has even been termed “the Pearl of the Carpathians”. The name Siania has been derived from the name of Mount Sinaia in Egypt. The climate is very much ideal for tourists because of the clean and fresh air full of oxygen and other nutrients necessary for the well-being of the people.
