About Capiz
Capiz is a province in the Philippines. The province is located in the region of Western Visayas. Capiz covers an area of 1,001.80 square miles and has a population of 761,384. The city of Roxas is the capital of the province. Among the top 15 most visited places in the country, Capiz is also known as the ‘Seafood Capital’ of the Philippines.
Capiz comprises one city, which is Roxas, and 16 municipalities. These 16 municipalities are further sub-divided into 473 barangays. Capiz has a surplus of agricultural products. The province is also a big supplier of milkfish and prawns. Apart from that, there are around 60 banking institutions in the province.
