Hebron City Guide



Hebron is a city on the West Bank along Mount Hebron. The city of Hebron is about 30 kilometers south of Jerusalem. The city of Hebron lies about 930 meters above sea level. After Jerusalem, the city of Hebron is supposed to be the second holiest city in Judaism.

The city of Hebron is famous for pottery workshops, and factories of glassblowing. Hebron in Palestine is also the location of the major dairy product manufacturer, al-Juneidi. Tourists to Hebron can visit the famous historic landmark Cave of the Patriarchs which is a holy site for all three faiths of Judaism, Abrahamic faith, and Christianity.

The tour to Hebron can also include a visit to the Hebron archeological museum where the visitors can see the collection of artifacts from the Canaanite to the Islamic period. The visitors can also see The Oak of Abraham which is also popular by the name Oak of Mamre. This is an ancient oak tree that is supposed to be 5000years old.
