The indigenous people believe that the mountain is sacred and spirits of their ancestors inhabit the top of the mountain.
Penang: Located off the northwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia, Penang is an island known for its pristine, clear beaches that include Pantai Kerachut, Muka Head, and Teluk Kampi. The rich multi-cultural history of the island draws the interest of many a travellers who come exploring the country’s cultural roots. Toy Museum, Penang Durian Farm, Penang Bird Park, War Museum, and the Snake Temple are some of the other major tourist attractions in Penang. Tioman: One of the most beautiful islands in the world, Tioman is situated off the east coast of peninsular Malaysia. The island is home to a number of monitor lizards and domestic cats. Perhentian Islands: Located off the coast of northeastern Malaysia, the Perhentian Islands are a group of beautiful, coral-fringed islands. Home to coral and fish, the Pernentians also comprise sea turtles and species of shark. The islands provide some great opportunities for diving and excellent snorkeling.
