Strumica



Strumica city is located in the Strumica Valley. The valley which covers an area of around 259 square miles and lies at an altitude of 239 meters above sea level is situated in the south eastern region of Macedonia.

The city of Strumica at Macedonia comprises of 72 villages and is one of the biggest cities in the whole valley. The Macedonian city bears a temperate Mediterranean climate i.e., hot and humid in summer while wet and cold winters.

Agriculture is the main occupation of people of Strumica in Macedonia. The main agricultural products are cotton, anasaon, poppy, tobacco,sesame and peanuts. Other than agriculture, people of this Macedonian city earn their living from textile, ceramics and non-metals industries.

Strumica of Macedonia is easily accessible through roads. The city boasts of some of the finest roads in the whole country. There are also numerous highways that help in reaching the desired destinations faster. Local transports include buses and private cars.
