Belgium is placed over the western and the northern frontiers of Luxembourg while the countries of France and Germany are located on the southern and the eastern regions of Luxembourg as per the Luxembourg geography.
The highest point in the Luxembourgian geography measures five hundred and fifty five meters. The geographical coordinates of Luxembourg are 49° 37′ N and 6° 13′ E. In the south-central part of Luxembourg is located the Luxembourg plateau. This large and flat plateau is formed of sandstone.
The four major rivers of Luxembourg include the Sure, Moselle, the Our and Alzette while other minor rivers which flow through the land of Luxembourg are the Mamer, the Mess, the Eisch, the Wark, the Attert, the Wiltz, the Blees, the Clerve, the Ernz Blanche, the Syr, the Ernz Noire, the Gande and the Petrusse.
The climatic condition of the land according to the Luxembourg geography is that of temperate with a cool and moist weather round the year. The average temperature fluctuates around 15° C in the day and 10° C in the night. The months of winter however are a bit on the cooler side.
