Kurmi is located in north central region of Latvia. The geographical position of Latvia is 57° 10′ N and 25° 45′ E. It is located at an altitude of 204 meters above sea level. Kurmi is also known as Kurmji.

Being surrounded by forests on all sides fauna is abundant. Wolves, lynx, elk, wild boar and deer are the wild animals found in these forests. Storks and nightingales are the common birds.
Kurmi, the holiday property has a floor area of about two hundred square meters with three bed rooms, sitting room, dining room, kitchen,, bathroom and lavatory. It has its own water supply from a well and a septic category drainage system. The farm house has an electric power connection. Cooking is done in wooden stoves, or electric cookers.
The fully furnished Kurmi farmhouse has a sauna and a changing room. A pond inside the Kurmi farmhouse premise is very refreshing after a sauna in the summer months. During winter the pond freezes and has an ice layer at the top.
