The population of Germany (German: Deutschlandkarte) mirrors the Europe of today. It is made up of native Germans as well as immigrants from other parts of Europe and Asia.
A substantial number of German citizens are of African origin. The population of Germany is expected to be 84.36 million people. It has been marked by declining growth in total numbers. This has led to a growth of an aging population in Germany that is accompanied by a lower count of young native German citizens. This lower count has forced Germany to allow skilled immigrants into the country. This inward migration has helped the country to maintain its technological and commercial advantage in Europe. A majority of the foreign population is from Turkey. They are followed by the Italians, Greeks, and Serbs. A large number of Asian immigrants like those from India and Sri Lanka have also settled in Germany and accepted German citizenship. Germany occupies the position of the 14th most populous country in the globe.
The population of Germany’s pyramid clearly shows the declining population growth. It also reveals a healthy mix of males and females count in the total population. Males and females are born in equal numbers. This has contributed to the better economic growth of Germany.
