Universities in Germany

The list of German universities is a record of higher educational institutions in the Federal Republic of Germany (German: Deutschlandkarte) that are either public or private based on a varied mixture of rules, regulations, and reforms.

Public German universities and colleges are autonomous body that is funded by the German government in order to provide students with free tuition programs and courses, varied in nature and type.

On the other hand, private German universities are fewer in number but have better career prospects. Students of these universities study in small disciplined groups and emphasize on practical experiences and international exposure.
